Zebra and Nilgai Retro Plaid Lapel Short Jacket

Made using burgundy cotton plaid and velvet corduroy, this unisex jacket features an oversized double lapel crop silhouette and mulberry silk liniing. Inspired by Ustad’s Mansur’s painting "Burchell’s Zebra and the Nilgai" from the year 1661. The Zebra and the Nilgai are rendered on to fabric using generational hand embroidery, metal work, and bead work techniques.
