Varieties of Flower Silk Short Sleeve Shirt

Made using a turmeric silk blend fabric, this unisex shirt featuring a crop double collar silhouette with cropped sleeves. Inspired by Ustad Mansur’s painting, Ten Varieties of Flowers from the year 1605. The flowers are rendered on to fabric using generational hand embroidery, metal work, and bead work techniques.

Part of the "Threads of Abundance" Collection inspired by Ustad Mansur, a forgotten master of the Mughal court and one of history’s first naturalists.
